1World capital of perfume
Set off to discover Grasse, the town that made perfumery famous. The great houses — Fragonard, Molinard, Galimard — the perfume-creation workshops, the International Perfume Museum and the old lanes looking out over the hinterland.
2Charm and a hilltop village
On to Mougins, a medieval hilltop village surrounded by greenery. Cobbled lanes and art galleries, panoramic views over the Bay of Cannes, an artistic atmosphere (Picasso lived part of his life here) and small squares full of charm.
3Luxury, shopping and a seafront aperitif
End the day in Cannes, city of cinema and glamour. Shopping on Rue d'Antibes or the Croisette, a walk along the Croisette at sunset, an aperitif facing the sea or on a rooftop, and the film-and-yachts atmosphere of the harbour.
